Humans Of NOSA Student Spotlight: Peyton Taylor

My name is Peyton Taylor and I am a second year student at Kentucky College of Optometry. During my first year, I served as the OD I intern for my school’s NOSA chapter. I enjoyed working with the other members to host our annual Fall Formal. I was also able to meet NOSA members from other schools at SECO this year. As KYCO’s incoming NOSA President, I look forward to increasing the awareness of the importance of minority representation in optometry. Before I began optometry school, I had mentors who were NOSA members that helped me throughout my entire process. I hope to return that favor and encourage minority students interested in pursuing optometry
